Itinerary

Day 1Ahmedabad – Jamnagar - Dwarka (450km / 8hrs)

Your Gujarat trip begins today with a pick-up from Ahmedabad Airport, Railway Station, or your hotel. You will then embark on your journey towards Dwarka. Along the way, you'll make a stop in Jamnagar to visit the serene Lakhota Lake and explore the historical artifacts at the Lakhota Museum. A significant spiritual visit includes the Bala Hanuman Temple, renowned for its continuous "Ramdhun" chanting since 1956, a remarkable feat listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. After these enriching visits, you will continue your drive to Dwarka for your overnight stay.

Day 2 Dwarka - Excursion to Bet Dwarka

This morning is dedicated to a full-day excursion to the sacred island of Bet Dwarka. Your visits will include the revered Nageshwar Jyotirling, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlinga shrines. You will also see Gopi Talav and the main site of Bet Dwarka. On your return journey to Dwarka, you'll make sure to visit the beautiful Rukmani Temple and explore other ancient temples located along the coastal area. In the evening, immerse yourself in devotion by attending the auspicious evening aarti at Dwarkadish Temple. Your overnight stay will be back at the hotel in Dwarka.

Day 4Somnath - Sasan Gir - Rajkot (200km / 4hrs)

After breakfast this morning, you will proceed towards Sasan Gir. Please note that Sasan Gir National Park is closed between 15th June to 15th October. During this closure period, you have the option to visit Devalia Safari Park (Gir Interpretation Zone) to see wildlife (please be aware it is closed on Wednesdays). Following your visit to the Gir region, you will then continue your journey towards Rajkot for your overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3Dwarka - Porbandar - Somnath (200km / 4hrs)

Today, you will depart from Dwarka and drive approximately 75km (1.5 hours) to Porbandar. In Porbandar, you'll visit Kirti Mandir, the historic birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, and the unique Sudama Temple, believed to be the only temple dedicated to Lord Krishna's childhood friend Sudama in the world. After exploring Porbandar, you'll continue your journey to Somnath, which is about 130km (2.5 hours) away. Upon arrival in Somnath, your sightseeing will include Bhalka Tirth, Triveni Sangam, Geeta Mandir Chopati, and the magnificent Somnath Temple. In the evening, you will attend the spiritual Aarti ceremony at Somnath Temple, followed by an illuminating Light and Sound show that narrates the temple's rich history. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel in Somnath.

Day 5Rajkot - Vadodara (300km / 6hrs)

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Rajkot and proceed towards Vadodara. Upon arrival, you'll check into your hotel. Later in the day, your sightseeing will begin with the opulent Laxmi Vilas Palace. This grand structure was built in 1890 by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III, styled in the magnificent Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture. You will then visit Kamati Baug (Sayaji Baug), one of Western India's largest public gardens. Within Kamati Baug, you can visit the Baroda Museum & Picture Gallery, the Sardar Patel Planetarium, and enjoy a ride on the unique toy train. This 10-inch wide track train covers 3.5 km, offering a complete view of the garden and was gifted for children's enjoyment. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel in Vadodara.

Day 6Vadodara - Statue of Unity - Ahmedabad (350km / 6hrs)

Today begins with an early morning start after breakfast, as you proceed towards the world's tallest statue, the Statue of Unity. Standing at an impressive height of 182 meters (597 ft), this monumental structure is located on a river island facing the Sardar Sarovar Dam on the Narmada River in Kevadiya colony (please note: it is closed on Mondays). After your inspiring visit to this iconic landmark, you will return towards Ahmedabad. Upon arrival in Ahmedabad, you will be dropped off at the Railway Station or Airport for your onward journey.
